South Boston, Massachusetts – A man from North Carolina has been sentenced to prison for his involvement in a violent attack and attempted rape of a woman in South Boston in 2020. Glen Mumford, aged 57, received a two and a half to three-year prison term for a charge of assault with intent to rape, along with two years of probation for assault and battery.

The incident took place on December 8, 2020, at the Old Colony housing project.
