Houston, Texas – A tragic incident unfolded in west Houston over the weekend, as a Texas attorney was fatally shot outside of a McDonald’s while trying to calm down an irate customer dissatisfied with his order. The victim, identified as 46-year-old Jeffrey Limmer, attempted to defuse the situation but ultimately became the target of the customer’s rage.
The Houston Police Department responded to the shooting at 8147 Katy Freeway on Saturday evening. According to detectives, the customer, upset with his order, demanded a refund and directed his frustration towards Limmer. A physical altercation ensued outside the McDonald’s, leading to the customer retrieving a gun from his car and shooting Limmer before fleeing the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck.
