Authorities say the peace was shattered after two boys, ages 5 and 7, were discovered lifeless inside their family’s residence, igniting a wave of grief across the community.
Investigators allege that the children’s mother, Priyatharsini Natarajan, 35, was responsible for their deaths. She was arrested at the scene following a 911 call placed by her husband, who had arrived home from work to the unthinkable and immediately alerted authorities.
According to officials, emergency crews rushed to the house after the distress call. Paramedics and police found the boys unresponsive and initiated lifesaving efforts, but those efforts proved unsuccessful. The children were declared dead inside the home.
