NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In a harrowing incident at a WeGo bus stop in Edgehill, witnesses bravely intervened to stop a violent stabbing attack that unfolded in the early hours of the morning. Authorities from the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) have reported that Jacob Boswell, a 31-year-old individual, was apprehended and charged with attempted criminal homicide in connection to the attack. According to the affidavit for Boswell’s arrest, witnesses contacted emergency services at approximately 5:18 a.m. to report a male individual stabbing another male at the intersection of 12th Avenue and Wedgewood Avenue.
Eyewitnesses recounted seeing the assailant, identified as Boswell, repeatedly stab a man who was already lying on the ground, visibly covered in blood. Shockingly, the attacker proceeded to exert force by placing his body weight on his knee upon the victim’s head during the assault.
