Las Vegas, Nevada – Authorities in Las Vegas are investigating a gruesome and violent attack that left a victim missing an eyeball and an ear. The incident took place in a 7-Eleven parking lot in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to an arrest report, police responded to a 911 call reporting a fight on the premises. Upon arrival, they found a man, later identified as Colin Czech, kneeling beside the victim with blood and biological matter on his face and hands. The victim, known only as Kenneth, was rushed to the UMC Trauma Center but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Czech, who exhibited erratic behavior and claimed to have been attacked by a “shape-shifter,” was also taken to the hospital.
Czech allegedly confessed to officers that he used his teeth to harm the victim, claiming a “higher power” assisted him in committing the gruesome act of eating the victim’s eyeball and ear. He mentioned hearing voices instructing him to kill the victim, whom he did not know. The detective examining the crime scene confirmed the victim’s missing eye and ear, along with evidence of a violent struggle.
After his release from the hospital, Czech was arrested and charged with murder. He is currently detained at the Clark County Detention Center. The motive behind the shocking attack and the mental state of the suspect remain under investigation.
