Florida Mall Shooting Leaves Two Dead, Seven Injured – No Suspects Sought by Police

Doral, Florida – A tragic shooting incident at a popular shopping mall in Florida resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left seven others injured. The incident unfolded at the Martini Bar within CityPlace Doral in the early hours of a Saturday morning, according to Miami-Dade police.

Reports indicate that a confrontation escalated at the bar, leading to a security guard being fatally shot by a gunman. In the ensuing altercation with law enforcement, the gunman was also killed. Among the casualties were six bystanders – five men and one woman – who sustained injuries during the exchange of gunfire. Additionally, a police officer was shot in the leg during the incident.

Speaking at a news conference, Miami-Dade detective Alvaro Zabaleta expressed condolences for the security guard who lost his life while intervening in the altercation.
