Heathrow Attack: Police Hunt Two Men After Taxi Driver Injured

London, UK – Police are on the hunt for two individuals following a violent and seemingly unprovoked attack on a taxi driver at Heathrow airport. The driver sustained eye and nose fractures after being punched in the face inside Terminal 5’s arrivals hall on January 10, between 05:30 and 05:45 GMT. The Metropolitan Police are seeking information on two men who traveled by bus from Woking to the airport.

Detective Constable Ben Benlounes from the Met’s aviation policing command described the incident as a vicious and unjustified assault that resulted in severe facial injuries for the victim. Authorities are now releasing CCTV images of the suspects in the hope that the public can assist in identifying them. The men are believed to have ties to Woking, west London, and parts of Surrey.

The first suspect is described as a white male with tanned skin, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, around 30 years old, wearing black cargo trousers and a black quilted puffer jacket. The second suspect is described as a black male, around 5ft 11ins tall, wearing black jeans, a black jacket, and Nike trainers. Anyone with information on the identities of these men or the assault itself is encouraged to contact the police at 101, quoting reference number 1000114/24.

The Metropolitan Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the identification of the suspects.
