Kidnapping Suspect Arrested After Violent Attack on Female Victim in San Bernardino

A man from San Bernardino County, California, is facing charges of kidnapping, assault, and robbery after a violent incident involving a female victim. Robert Michael Lockwood-Stinson, 24, of Chino Hills, got into an argument with the victim that turned physical on May 7, resulting in significant injuries for the woman, according to a statement from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department.

Lockwood-Stinson allegedly took the victim’s phone, wallet, and cellphone before she managed to escape. However, he later found her on Palomino Drive in Chino Hills, forced her into his vehicle, and threatened her if she tried to escape. He then drove her to her residence, where the victim was eventually able to report the incident to authorities at the Chino Hills Police Station.

Following the report, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Lockwood-Stinson and apprehended him near his residence on May 8. He was subsequently booked at the West Valley Detention Center. The nature of the relationship between the suspect and the victim, if any, has not been disclosed by authorities.
