Killer on the Run: Family Seeks Justice for Slain Barbershop Owner

EAST POINT, Ga. – A family in East Point, Georgia, continues to mourn almost two months after their son, Righteous Torrence Hill, was fatally shot at his home. The tragic incident occurred on February 28th, leaving the killer still at large as the victim’s family seeks justice.

Terri Wilson, Hill’s partner, expressed the unbearable pain she has been feeling since the loss. Hill, a local business owner of barbershops and beauty salons, was involved in a dispute with a relative over the use of his car on the night of the shooting. The situation escalated, leading to the fatal altercation that claimed Hill’s life.

During the confrontation, Wilson recounted hearing Hill questioning the shooter, “you just gonna shoot me?” The gunshots that followed left Hill critically injured as Wilson tried to comfort him before he was rushed to surgery. Unfortunately, Hill did not survive, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.

Described as a gentle and generous person, Hill’s parents, Zelb and Verna Wilcox, are calling for justice for their son. Zelb emphasized that they want the killer to be held accountable for the heinous crime, urging for the maximum punishment to be served.
