Lower East Side Bowling Alley Stabbing Leaves Victim Hospitalized: Suspects Sought

New York, New York – A man remains in the hospital after a violent stabbing incident at a Lower East Side bowling alley. Authorities are searching for suspects involved in the attack, which took place early Monday morning. Police sources reported that the altercation occurred around 1:40 a.m. inside the Gutter Bowling Alley, located near the intersection of Broome and Essex Streets.

According to officials, a 21-year-old man was engaged in a verbal dispute with at least three other individuals. The situation escalated when the assailants began physically assaulting the victim with punches and kicks. During the confrontation, one of the attackers produced a sharp object and slashed the victim in the neck before fleeing the scene.

The injured man, bleeding profusely, managed to leave the area in a vehicle and seek help. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition. The 7th Precinct responded to the incident, and detectives are conducting an investigation, including reviewing video footage from the bowling alley.
