Pro-Palestine Protesters Clash Outside Bradford Kebab Shop Over Coca-Cola Boycott

Bradford, United Kingdom – A violent brawl erupted outside a kebab shop in Bradford when Pro-Palestine protestors demanded the owner boycott Coca-Cola, leading to a chaotic confrontation captured on film. Salahudin Yusuf, the owner of Salah’s on Leeds Road, reportedly suffered injuries that required stitches after being attacked by a group of up to 50 individuals.

Footage from the incident shows a mob draped in Palestinian flags gathering outside the restaurant as tensions rise, culminating in physical altercations. The confrontation escalated as the owner stepped out to confront the protestors, resulting in a skirmish involving sticks and protest flags being used as weapons.

Amid the chaos, shouts of ‘guys, guys calm down’ could be heard as the situation grew increasingly hostile. Four men were arrested following reports of assaults and property damage, including windows being smashed during the altercation outside the kebab shop.

According to a close friend of the owner, the protestors were demanding the boycott of Coca-Cola, alleging that the company profits from Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian land. The friend described the group as ‘cowards’, noting that despite the shop removing Coca-Cola from its offerings two months prior, threats were still made by the protestors.

Following the incident, West Yorkshire Police confirmed the arrests of the four men on charges of criminal damage, assault, affray, and possession of an offensive weapon. In response to the disturbance, authorities have increased their presence in the area to maintain peace and security.

Police reports indicated that the incident stemmed from a pro-Palestine protest outside Salah’s takeaway, with an emphasis on preventing further violence and ensuring the safety of the community. Investigations into the confrontation continue as detectives from Bradford District CID work to gather more information and hold those responsible accountable. Community leaders have been informed of the situation, with local authorities committed to addressing any potential tensions that may arise.
