“Reward” offered for information on Bowie resident Yohans Raynor’s fatal shooting

Bowie, Maryland – A shooting in Capitol Heights in December 2023, resulted in the death of Bowie resident Yohans Raynor. The Prince George’s County Police Department is currently seeking information to track down the shooter.

Authorities responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of Possum Court at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2023. Raynor was found inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound and was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. He tragically passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

Investigators have not yet identified a motive or a suspect, but they believe the shooting was not a random crime. As they continue their search for the shooter, a reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and charges.
