Shooter Arrested in Fatal McDonald’s Shooting in Belcamp: Victim Identified

Belcamp, Maryland – A tragic incident unfolded at a McDonald’s in Belcamp, where 19-year-old Sebashton Nocar lost his life in a fatal shooting. The Harford County Sheriff’s Office reported that a man is now in custody and facing charges in connection with the shooting.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred on Tuesday around 10:35 p.m. when deputies responded to a report of gunfire at the McDonald’s on Riverside Parkway in Belcamp. Upon arrival, deputies found Nocar inside the restaurant with a gunshot wound to the head. Despite their efforts to save him, Nocar succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The suspected shooter, identified as 32-year-old Djbril Ramatoulay, was a former employee at the McDonald’s where the tragic incident took place. Sheriff Jeff Gahler stated that the altercation leading to the shooting started outside the restaurant and escalated inside. It was revealed that both Ramatoulay and Nocar had worked at the McDonald’s.

Residents in the area expressed shock and disbelief over the violent incident that took place within the familiar confines of the fast-food restaurant. The community, known for its peaceful atmosphere, is now grappling with the aftermath of this senseless tragedy.

Ramatoulay, who was on probation for assault at the time of the shooting, now faces charges related to Nocar’s death. Court records indicate that he could have faced up to 13 years in prison for his previous offense, with his probation set to end in October. Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Ramatoulay on Wednesday, leading to his arrest without any further incident.
