Shooter at Large: 19-Year-Old Walmart Employee Opens Fire, Killing One and Injuring a Child

Fayetteville, Georgia – Authorities are currently on the lookout for a 19-year-old suspect who allegedly shot two individuals inside a Walmart store on Pavillion Parkway. The incident took place on Friday night, prompting calls to law enforcement regarding gunfire.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered 19-year-old Antavius Holton from Riverdale and a nine-year-old girl who had sustained gunshot wounds. Both victims were promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention. Tragically, Holton succumbed to his injuries, while the child remains in stable condition at this time.

The perpetrator, identified as 19-year-old Adrian Jelks and an employee of the Walmart, apparently fled the scene in a vehicle following the shooting but later abandoned it. The police have labeled Jelks as armed and dangerous and are actively seeking his whereabouts.

Authorities have taken 19-year-old Sandra Romero-Nunez into custody, charging her with being an accessory to murder and aggravated assault. Details surrounding her involvement in the incident have not been disclosed as of now.
