Miami, Florida – A tragic incident unfolded early Saturday at a commercial establishment in the Miami area, resulting in the death of a security guard and leaving a responding officer and six others wounded by gunfire. Reports from Doral Police indicate that the altercation escalated when an individual brandished a firearm, leading to the fatal shooting of the guard along with the suspect.
Miami-Dade Police revealed that the security guard had bravely intervened in the altercation, only to be met with gunfire from the suspect. Following the shooting, law enforcement officers rushed to the scene where a gunfight erupted.
