Violent Encounter: Greenville Officers Recovering After Arrest of Resident

GREENVILLE, Pitt County, North Carolina – Three officers from the Greenville Police Department are currently recovering after a violent encounter and subsequent arrest of a local resident on Sunday evening.

The incident unfolded when officers responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the vicinity of Copper Beech Drive. Reports indicated that a man had assaulted a resident after forcibly entering the home with his dog. By the time law enforcement arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene.

Subsequently, another individual alerted police that the same suspect was attempting to sic his dog on a Doordash delivery driver. Officers swiftly located the suspect, identified as Ronald Dublin Hoff, near his apartment.
