SAN ANTONIO — A tragic incident at a local landscaping business resulted in the deaths of three employees early Saturday morning, with a 21-year-old identified as the shooter.
Jose Hernandez allegedly opened fire at Mission Landscape Supply around 7:45 a.m. Sunday, fatally wounding two men, ages 48 and 38, as well as a 24-year-old woman. According to the San Antonio Police Department, the attack on the employees was sudden and brutal, leaving the community reeling with grief and confusion.
Witnesses reported hearing a series of gunshots, prompting immediate calls to law enforcement. Police arrived within minutes, but by that time, the gunman had fled the scene. Hernandez was located several hours later, suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and was subsequently taken to a hospital for treatment.
