Suspect in Custody After Pennsylvania Killing Spree: Gordon Arrested in New Jersey

Falls Township, Pennsylvania – A man accused of killing three people in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, is now in custody, authorities confirmed. The suspect, identified as Andre Gordon, allegedly carried out the heinous act on Saturday morning, targeting multiple victims in two separate homes before fleeing to New Jersey.

Gordon, 26, reportedly shot and killed his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, as well as his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, in their home in Levittown, Pennsylvania. The suspect then proceeded to another residence on Edgewood Lane, where he fatally shot 25-year-old Taylor Daniel. The District Attorney stated that Gordon was also involved in the injuring of Daniel’s mother, who is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.

After the shootings, Gordon allegedly carjacked a driver at gunpoint in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, before abandoning the vehicle in Trenton, New Jersey. Authorities in New Jersey initiated a search for Gordon, believing he was barricaded inside a residence. However, the suspect managed to elude the perimeter set up by law enforcement and was later apprehended while walking on New York Avenue.

Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora expressed relief upon Gordon’s arrest, emphasizing that the suspect cooperated with police and did not possess any weapons at the time of apprehension. Despite the arrest, authorities are continuing their investigation, including searching for the weapon used in the shootings.

The Falls Township Police indicated that Gordon was acquainted with all the victims except for the carjacking victim, highlighting that the suspect has ties to the Trenton area and is believed to be currently homeless. Reports initially suggested that Gordon had hostages inside a Trenton home, but all individuals were safely evacuated without harm.

The FBI has been monitoring the situation closely and is collaborating with local agencies to ensure public safety. Following the incident, a shelter-in-place order in Falls Township was lifted after Gordon’s capture in New Jersey, approximately 28 miles northeast of Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania State Police are actively supporting the ongoing investigation.

Governor Josh Shapiro acknowledged being briefed on the unfolding events surrounding Andre Gordon’s arrest, underscoring the importance of addressing the tragic circumstances. The community remains on edge as authorities work to piece together the motive behind the violent rampage that left three individuals dead and several others traumatized.
