ALBION, Wis. – Authorities in Albion, Wisconsin reported a tragic incident involving a 38-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl who engaged in a pursuit with officers, only to be found dead later. The man, identified as Alexander C. Grunke from Middleton, was discovered deceased following a standoff with sheriff’s deputies at a residence in Albion, as stated by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
During the pursuit, both Grunke and the teenage girl fired gunshots at officers, involving a suspicious car linked to a slaying in Dubuque, Iowa. Utilizing road spikes, law enforcement disabled the car, leading to the duo fleeing the scene. The girl was found deceased in a nearby wooded area from an undetermined cause, while Grunke retreated into the Albion home.
