Alleged Attack, Robbery, and Gunfire at St. Louis County Apartments Leads to Arrest

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A woman from St. Louis City has been taken into custody for her alleged involvement in a violent incident at Jennings Station Apartments last week. The altercation, which occurred on January 31, resulted in the victim being attacked, robbed, and shot at, according to a probable cause statement from the St. Louis County Police Department.

Police officers responded to a reported disturbance at the apartment complex and, after separating the parties involved, left the scene. Approximately 30 minutes later, they were called back to the same location in response to gunfire.

The victim sustained visible injuries, including bruises, missing hair, and bleeding. She reported that two women had approached her as she was loading her rental vehicle, assaulting her, and stealing her belongings. The victim also stated that one of the women, identified as Trinity Dunn, fired a shot into the right rear tire of the rental car after stealing the victim’s cash, wallet, keys, and shoes.

Following the gunfire, the victim sought refuge in an apartment, where she heard additional shots being fired. Upon investigation, the police found several shell casings inside and outside the apartment building. Dunn was subsequently arrested and confessed to attacking the victim, stealing from her, and firing shots in her direction.

Dunn has been charged by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, second-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, and second-degree property damage. She is currently being held in custody on a $150,000 cash-only bond.
