Texarkana, Arkansas – A disturbing incident at Central Mall in Texarkana, Arkansas has left the community in shock. What was initially reported as a medical emergency turned out to be a violent attack resulting in severe facial injuries to a mall employee.
Law enforcement responded to a distress call at Central Mall and discovered that the victim had been brutally assaulted. Police have been diligently working on the case throughout the weekend, piecing together the events leading up to the violent incident.
According to the investigation, an older female Central Mall employee had confronted two unsupervised teenage boys who were misusing children’s strollers available for rent. When she reprimanded them for their behavior, the teens responded with verbal abuse. The victim, also a mall employee, intervened to protect the woman and instructed the boys to leave.
The assailant, upset that someone had intervened, returned moments later with the two boys and unleashed a sudden and unprovoked attack on the victim. The victim suffered serious injuries, including a concussion and multiple broken orbital bones around his eyes. Despite the severity of the assault, the victim has been released from the hospital and is now recovering at home.
