Charged: Men Arrested for Violent Attack in York Face Multiple Serious Charges

York, England – Two men face charges in connection with a violent attack that occurred in York. The men, aged 26 and 29, were taken into custody by authorities investigating an assault on a man on April 19th. Both individuals have been charged with wounding with intent. Additionally, the 29-year-old has been charged with witness intimidation, criminal damage, assaulting an emergency worker, and possession of an offensive weapon.

They are currently being held in custody and are scheduled to appear before magistrates on Thursday. Notably, the 26-year-old man has been recalled back to prison, as confirmed by North Yorkshire Police. Another individual, in his 60s, who was also arrested in connection with the attack has been released on conditional bail.

Furthermore, two women, aged 41 and 43, and a 54-year-old man who were previously arrested regarding the incident are still on bail as investigations continue. North Yorkshire Police are urging anyone with information on the assault to come forward.
