Chicago, Illinois – A horrifying incident unfolded in the streets of Streeterville, where a Chicago woman, only identified as Nina, suffered a miscarriage after being viciously attacked by a group of teenagers. The attack reportedly took place while Nina was out on a date with her husband, as they were walking through the neighborhood.
According to reports, the teenagers assaulted Nina by kicking her stomach, pulling out her hair, stomping on her, and even pepper-spraying her. The violence escalated when one of the attackers punched Nina’s husband from behind, prompting him to instruct his wife to run. However, another member of the group dragged Nina by her hair along the ground.
The harrowing ordeal continued as Nina screamed for help, only to have one of the teenagers pepper-spray her eyes and another stomp on her. Despite her attempts to reason with her assailants and explain that she was a mother trying to get back to her child, the group continued their senseless attack.
Following the incident, police charged two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, with one count each of simple battery. However, Alderman Brian Hopkins has pushed for more severe charges due to the extent of the injuries sustained by Nina and her husband.
