Chicopee Shooting Suspects Linked to I-391 Murder: Noah Torres and Kiana Gonzalez Charged

Springfield, Massachusetts – Two individuals, Noah Torres, 19, from Springfield, and Kiana Gonzalez, 22, from Holyoke, have been identified in connection with the tragic death of Guyton Winspeare, 35, from Chicopee, on March 12, as announced by the Hampden County District Attorney.

The incident occurred just before 8:45 p.m. on I-391 South in Chicopee, between exits 3 and 4, when shots were fired into a vehicle on the interstate, resulting in injury to two individuals who then transported themselves to Baystate Medical Center. Winspeare, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital in Springfield.

Law enforcement swiftly focused their investigation on Torres and Gonzalez, according to the prosecutor’s office. Torres faces charges including murder, possession of a large capacity firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity feeding device without a license, and possession of ammunition, and is currently held without bail.

Gonzalez, on the other hand, has been charged with accessory after the fact, tampering or destruction of evidence, possession of a large capacity firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity feeding device without a license, and possession of ammunition without a license. She is being held with bail set at $100,000.

In light of the tragic event, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to cover Winspeare’s funeral expenses and provide financial support for his son. At the time of reporting, the fundraiser has raised over $8,000 towards its $30,000 goal.

As the investigation continues, authorities are working diligently to bring justice to the family and loved ones of Guyton Winspeare.
