Gunman with Extensive Criminal History on the Run After Deadly Nashville Coffee Shop Shooting

Nashville, Tennessee – A gunman accused of fatally shooting one person during an Easter Sunday brunch at a coffee shop in Nashville has a lengthy criminal history, according to Fox 17. The suspect, Anton Rucker, is currently on the run and has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted list following the incident that resulted in the death of 33-year-old Allen Beachem.

Rucker’s criminal record includes multiple convictions for aggravated assault, evading police, and drug-related offenses, as uncovered by Fox 17. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported that Rucker’s criminal history dates back to 1997 and has escalated in severity over the years. Recently, he was arrested in Rutherford County in October on drug-related charges.

The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed that Rucker is considered armed and dangerous. Police are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for any information leading to his capture. Authorities located a Mercedes believed to belong to Rucker, but the suspect remains at large as of Monday evening.

The shooting occurred around 3 p.m. at a coffee shop, where Rucker opened fire, striking five people and killing one man. Police described the incident as stemming from an altercation that escalated quickly, resulting in gunfire.
