The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Kareem Harris, a student at Livingston Collegiate Academy.
According to authorities, the incident unfolded around 8 p.m. as Harris fled from a gunman. In a desperate attempt to escape, he ran into the restaurant’s foyer located at 2301 Orleans Ave. Tragically, the shooter pursued him inside, continuing to fire and ultimately fatally wounding Harris.
