Suspect Identified in Deadly Shooting of Houston Attorney at McDonald’s

Houston, Texas – Houston police have announced the identification of a suspect in the fatal shooting of an attorney at a local McDonald’s restaurant over the weekend.

Anthony Martin Landry, 57, faces a murder charge in the death of 46-year-old Jeffrey Limmer, who was fatally shot at the McDonald’s on I-10 at Chimney Rock around 6 p.m. Saturday. Limmer had reportedly intervened in an altercation between another customer and the restaurant staff before being shot.

Authorities state that the suspect, after becoming angry with the workers, retrieved a gun from his vehicle and opened fire on Limmer, killing him before fleeing the scene in a pickup truck. The investigation has now led police to identify Landry as the primary suspect in the case.

In a statement, the family of Jeff Limmer expressed relief upon learning of the suspect’s identification and urged for his prompt apprehension to prevent any further harm. They also extended gratitude to the community for their support during this difficult time, requesting privacy as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
