BELIZE CITY, Belize — A domestic conflict escalated into a violent confrontation over the weekend, resulting in serious injuries for one woman and multiple criminal charges for a mother and son. Prunella White, 38, and her 19-year-old son, Jermaine Belisle, were arraigned in court on attempted murder charges following an incident that occurred early Sunday morning at their residence on Central American Boulevard.
According to police reports, the altercation began during a heated argument between White and her girlfriend, Samira Gentle, 36. In the midst of the confrontation, White allegedly attacked Gentle with a machete, while Belisle is accused of stabbing her with a knife.
