Washington, D.C. – Authorities in the nation’s capital are seeking information on a triple shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday evening, prompting a plea for help from the community.
On that fateful night, at approximately 7:58 p.m., law enforcement officers were alerted to a shooting victim who had arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for their injuries. Subsequent investigations revealed that the shooting occurred in the 3400 block of Stanton Road in Southeast D.C.
Two additional victims of the shooting were also located at nearby medical facilities, with a man and a juvenile male receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Sadly, one of the victims succumbed to their injuries the following day. The deceased victim was identified as 26-year-old Amaru Cureton, a resident of Southeast D.C.
