Transgender Teen Stabbed 14 Times in Violent Birthday Party Attack in London Suburb

London, England – A transgender girl was brutally stabbed 14 times at a birthday party in London’s Masons Avenue, leading to a court hearing for the perpetrator. The attack occurred in the borough of Harrow on Saturday evening, and the victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

At Willesden Magistrates Court, 19-year-old Summer Betts-Ramsey appeared, charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in public. The court heard that the victim, a transgender teenage girl, was subjected to transphobic slurs before being attacked by a group at a roller-skating party.

Police were alerted to the scene at Masons Avenue at 7pm, where they found the 18-year-old with stab wounds. She was subsequently taken to the hospital and has since been discharged. According to the Standard, Betts-Ramsey cried in the dock as she confirmed her details and her address in Cricklewood.

A plea hearing is scheduled for March 12, with Betts-Ramsey remaining in custody until then. The Metropolitan Police reported that four individuals had been arrested in connection with the incident, and police patrols in the area have been increased.

Detective Inspector Nicola Hannant stated, “This was a shocking and violent attack, and we continue to support the victim and her family as she recovers from her injuries. Since the incident occurred, we have been working tirelessly to identify those responsible and are making good progress with our investigation.”

The police have urged anyone with further information to come forward and speak to them, while also encouraging people to approach officers with any information or concerns.
