Violent Attack Leaves One Dead and Family Severely Injured in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh

Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh – A violent attack in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh left a man dead and his wife and mother severely injured, according to police reports on Friday.

The incident took place in Joha Faliya of Parvaliya village in Jhabua district. Nahatiya Bhabor, 40, along with his wife Kali Bai Bhabor, 36, and mother Heera Bai Bhabor, 80, were working in their agriculture field when the attack occurred, as reported by Parwalia police outpost in-charge Sanjay Rao.

While the family was harvesting wheat in their field, they were suddenly ambushed by more than six attackers, including Arpit Munia, Jayesh Munia, Joh Singh Munia, Dev Chand Munia, Vesta Munia, and Malji Munia. The Bhabor family was mercilessly attacked with an axe, leaving Nahatiya and his family with serious injuries.

Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the scene, transporting the injured to Thandla Civil Hospital with the help of medical emergency services. Sadly, Nahatiya succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by doctors at the hospital. The police took Nahatiya’s body to Thandla Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination and initiated a search for the assailants.

Eyewitnesses reported that the injured family members were left groaning at the scene while waiting for the ambulance, and the body remained unattended for an extended period. The motive behind the attack is not immediately clear, and authorities are conducting an investigation into the tragic incident. It is unfortunate that such violence could occur, and the community is reeling from the shocking assault.

The brutal attack has not only resulted in the loss of a life but has also caused severe trauma to the surviving family members. The authorities are urged to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice. The safety and security of individuals in rural communities must be prioritized, and measures should be taken to prevent such heinous acts of violence in the future.
