The incident, which occurred last month near SLAM! Charter School in Little Havana, was captured on video and led to the arrest of individuals aged between 14 and 18 on battery charges.

Miami Police credited the arrests to extensive investigative efforts, including interviews with witnesses and individuals possessing critical information about the incident. The execution of search warrants played a pivotal role in gathering essential evidence that ultimately led to the arrests.

Among the arrested suspects is 18-year-old Diego Jones, one of seven individuals involved in the brutal attack near the charter school.
