Shooting Tragedy Unfolds at Lilburn Store, Leaving One Dead and Two Injured

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – A tragic incident unfolded at a shopping plaza along Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn Saturday night, where a man opened fire, resulting in a woman’s death and injuries to two men, including the suspected shooter.

According to reports, the suspect entered the Tana Food Mart with a pistol and fatally shot a 57-year-old woman. Additionally, a 62-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg during the altercation. Both men were swiftly transported to Northside Gwinnett Hospital for treatment, with the suspect listed in critical condition.

Initially, authorities believed the deceased woman may have been the former wife of the gunman and was currently married to the injured man. However, family members clarified that the woman was not married to either individual, prompting police to investigate the relationships between all the parties involved.
